Precautions for installation of skid mounted equipment

Skid mounted equipment is a kind of equipment used to compress gas, which is similar to the structure of water pump. Most air compressors are reciprocating plug type, rotating blades or rotating screws. Centrifugal compressors are very large applications. Next, we will take a look at the precautions for installation of skid mounted equipment together with skid mounted equipment manufacturers.

1. During installation of skid mounted equipment, a wide and well lit place shall be provided for operation and maintenance.

2. The relative humidity of the air should be low, with less dust. The air should be clean and well ventilated. It should be far away from inflammable and explosive, corrosive chemicals and harmful and unsafe articles, and avoid being close to the place where dust is emitted.

3. When installing the skid mounted equipment, the ambient temperature must be lower than 40 ℃ in summer, because the higher the ambient temperature is, the higher the discharge temperature of the skid mounted equipment will be, which will affect the performance of the skid mounted equipment. If necessary, the installation site shall be equipped with ventilation or cooling devices.

4. If the factory environment is poor and there is much dust, the prefilter must be installed.

5. Reserve access roads, and install the crown block if conditions permit, so as to facilitate the maintenance of skid mounted equipment.

6. Reserve maintenance space. The distance between the air compressor and the wall shall be at least 70 cm.

7. The distance between the skid mounted equipment and the top space shall be at least one meter. Will be at chest level. When the center of the valve and the handwheel are more than 1.8m away from the operation ground, the operation platform shall be set for the valve and safety valve with more operation. For pipelines with many valves, the valves shall be concentrated on the platform as much as possible for easy operation.
